Michael Evola Runs for Soil and Water Supervisor Position

October 30, 2022 by Admin

Michael Evola is a young art student who is running for the position of Soil an Water Supervisor for all of Union County. He has no formal education in this area, yet has garnered a lot of campaign funding from outside of Union County.

This is a non-partisan position, but partisan politics has been a factor as Michael has cozied up to Union County Republicans. He attended the Republican Judge’s picnic hosted by the Sweet Union Republican Women’s club, and has received endorsements from credulous Waxhaw Commissioner Tracy Wesolek. This is a strange development considering Michael’s highly partisan past as President of the Union County Young Democrats and 28D Precinct Vice-Chair for the Union County Democratic Party. Michael has also been appointed to a NC state board by Governor Roy Cooper, and has appeared with other elected officials such as Attorney General Josh Stein, and Cal Cunningham.

In 2022 Michael has changed his party affiliation several times, from Democrat to Unaffiliated to Republican, and back to Unaffiliated.

It seems that Michael is a highly politically-connected young man who is using the Soil and Water position as an opportunity to add to his political resume.
